All Managers please be aware that the transfer window will open at the following time.

Stright after VB Cup S.Final games to team dealine of the VB Cup Final round

This will allow just about 3 rounds of trading so plenty of time, to complete any deals.

Also the time between now and then will give the new teams at least 2 weeks of games to work out what the team is like etc

And closing Cup Final week, rather than end of the season means that it will give me some time to update squads etc, for when GB gets back.

Along with giving managers some refection time before they need to chose draft players etc.

Any questions or opinions feel free to contact me.

Richard

Just to confirm though Rich - there's no trading actually happening until the season has finished is there?

Important announcement re: Trading - All read!

After a brief emergency meeting, the following additions are announced.

For a trade to be official, it must be posted in the official Trade post by both managers within the trading period.

This thread will be started by Rich in his capacity as temporary GB, and the opening of the thread will signify the start of the trading period.

This thread is ONLY to be used for confirmation of trades and all other posts in there will be deleted (to help make Rich's job easier) and the offender will be horsewhipped.

Also note that is nothing to stop a manager backing out of a trade at any time up to the point at which the trade is confirmed, so if you get a better offer, you're within your rights to take it! :baddevil:

Quick desicion ALL MANAGERS

Ok in a quick meeting Marc raised a point about once you have transfered a player in you aren't allowed to transfer him on again, until the next transfer window (after the draft has finished and before the new season)

What are your opinions on this?? (GB particuarly intrested to hear from you)

you should be able to trade players on again if you wish to (and i think GB might like more people with taht opinion ;))

Yeah i think, its only fair that we allow this to happen, alot of people use players they have traded in to get someone they want more...
It also allows someone who missed out on a player the opportunity to still pick them up if the sucessful manager wants to...(if u get my drift)...
:D :D :D :D

It'll make it a lot easier for Rich to track in his temporary GB role if players only move once was the reasoning behind hit - he does have a lot of other things to do!

Graham said:
I'd be happy to keep track of player movements again Rich if you'll find that helpful.
Graham that would be good, you did a faultless job last year so no reason to sack you just yet :D :D :D :D

In a statement made towards the other members of the board , board member L_o_D would like to point out a view from his holiday place

In order to not create problems later on in the year i dont know how but i think there can be a way that i can choose players for my team as my view and the relievers view would be a lot different on what kind of players Hampshire really needs and what kinds of drafts hampshire makes . So that i doesnt create problems for me later on losing players that i would generally like to keep after being with the team over a long period of time.

So i dont know how but if i could be in with the teams trading and drafts and if my reliever could constantly u2u me with trades prospects sent to him for hampshire and me likewise to make trades and if drafts opinions from my reliever could be sent from him to me by u2u and if i get in time and post it its done and if not he posts it ...

Can the board help me on this and the same for my brother
