As you said, he was already bowling them last summer. I doubt he will ever bowl the flipper as well as he did in the early 90s, but he did bowl a few of them last year and took a wicket with one, IIRC.

The wrong'un is certainly back and he's bowling that better than ever before, but he didn't have that last Ashes and still took 40 wickets. If anything, his record since re-introducing the wrong'un and flipper is poorer than it was in the period immediately beforehand. I don't think it matters much.

Its just brilliant mind games. All he has to do is threaten to bowl one and the batsmen will keep looking for it. Another seed of doubt. Another psychological win for Warne. :dry:
