Urgent Poll!

Owing to a rather strange mix-up, the fixtures released for Tests and ODI's don't agree to the Groups named.

These will be fixed, but it meant that whilst people named their sides based on the following fixtures:

Lords v Basin Reserve
Kandy v Dhaka
Toronto v Lahore
Kensington Oval v Eden Gardens
Sharjah v Harare
Cape Town v MCG

The real fixtures should have been:

Lords v Eden Gardens
Sharjah v MCG
Toronto v Basin Reserve
Cape Town v Lahore
Kandy v Harare
Kensington Oval v Dhaka


I have run the proper fixtures, but before I release them, I want people to vote on whether they which to repick sides (which will delay the games, and require new selections) or to accept these first round matches as done.

Can you all vote ASAP on this matter thanks.

As an aside which is making me lean towards a restart - Neil is due back in the middle of this week, and would thus be able to take on his team - he was one of the big potential casualties from this, as his team were meant to be playing at Kensington Oval, but I picked his side with Kandy in mind.

We've waited this long, I don't see what another couple of days to a week would make that much different. I am voting for re-simming.

If we do re-sim, can we still have the current sim results? (Just for interests sake).

Cool! I understand. That's what I meant - to realease the first results after we get the proper ones first.

I voted for accepting the results, since I'm going to put out the same line-up. But, seeing as some people want to change it, I don't really mind.

With Liam's impending absence and Neils impending return (not sure which makes me more disappointed!) - I think we're best to reselect sides and the season will then start next weekend.

I will start a new thread for the team selections - anyone who doesn't post by next weekend, I will just use the initial selection.

Thanks all for your understanding - we've worked ery hard to make this potentially great, and I think the week will help that!
