Update re: moving onto the Second Phase

Hi all,

A few details.

There will be a week break following Round 6 to set up the Super Six and Plate Rounds.

As previously stated, the top 2 will go to Super Six and rest to Plate.

If sides are level in Tests, then we will have a 1 game play-off between the sides at a random neutral venue.

Likwise it will be the same in ODI (but that's after Net RR, so very unlikely)

For the Phase 2, sides will be ranked in order of points scored in the Group Stage (1 to 6) - and the schedule has already been drawn up and will be released when the Groups are over!

Will the teams who don't make it play off in a supplementary competition, or at least some friendlies? Or do they just sit out until ALFTA3 starts?

Top two in each group go to the Super Six comp, and the others to the Plate comp.

The only sitting out will come in the Semis... and even then I guess you'll have 5/6 and 11/12 playoffs.
