Bevan is a Test failure in the context of Australian cricket. He's made a great career in ODI cricket. He is not unlucky.

Reon King would be there.
Ian Bishop too.
Robert Samuels.

Liam's spot on with respect to Ian Bishop. He was very unlucky with injuries.

Brett Schultz is another one who was very unlucky.

I'm not so sure about Mongia though -- Mongia may only have himself to blame for his current predicament if the reports are true about his attitude problems. I don't think we'll ever know the truth over what really was the deal with Nayan.
Its very unlikely that he'll ever play for India again.

Rodney Redmond should be there(NZ).He got a 100 and a 50 on his test debut vs pakistan, but never played again.

He could have been another martin crowe :(

Jamie Siddons of South Australia was one of the most prolific run machines in Australian domestic cricket, yet never played a test match.

I'll think you'll find I didn't list all the Australians who have played domestic cricket in Australia and not been successful for Australia. Rather, those who IMO would have been been successful in another country.
