Nah. Arguably. Federer, Bolt, Phelps & Schmacher all have at least as good cases. No idea as not following him closely. However, he is undoubtedly the greatest sportsman of our times.
Not to mention Michael Jordan and Sachin Tendulkar.Nah. Arguably. Federer, Bolt, Phelps & Schmacher all have at least as good cases.
lolnot to mention michael jordan and sachin tendulkar.
Same can be said for Bolt though, no sportsman is dominating like him at the moment. The gap between Woods and the next competitor based on what Woods has achieved at his age is Bradmanesque.
Not when you look at the facts.Same can be said for Bolt though, no sportsman is dominating like him at the moment.
Also Scumacher's 91 wins in Formula one to the next best of 51 is pretty Bradmanesque.
Yeah point taken, although Scumacher does have a suginificantly better win ratio than Senna and Prost. He is only beaten by Ascari and Fangio, who was pretty much always in a championship winning car and that is of course always a big issue when comparing drivers. Not when you look at the facts.
Bradman 29 centuries in 52 tests, no one is even close to that
Schumacher 91 wins in 250 races, Fangio 24 wins in 51 races and others such as Senna and Prost have similar winning strike rates to Schumacher, he just has them for longjevity.
Not really. Federer is only 28 and has won 15 GS titles; Sampras was 31 when he won his 14th. Jack Nicklaus had won 12 majors by the time he was Woods's age too. Tiger's ahead, but not by that much. The gap between Woods and the next competitor based on what Woods has achieved at his age is Bradmanesque.
There's slightly more physical activity involved in golf than darts. If Woods is an athlete then so is Phil Taylor and if that is the case then he doesnt compare to 'The Power'
Perhaps not the best choice of words there. Not when you look at the facts.

Plus a hell of a lot more competition. There's slightly more physical activity involved in golf than darts.
Emphasis on slightly and there is a lot more physical activity in a hundred sports than golf but it is still incuded in the discussion. There's slightly more physical activity involved in golf than darts.
Bit more than that, you actually have to be reasonably fit to play 18 holes a day, 4 days in a row. 36 holes in a day, even more so.Emphasis on slightly
