Same can be said for Bolt though, no sportsman is dominating like him at the moment.

Also Scumacher's 91 wins in Formula one to the next best of 51 is pretty Bradmanesque.

Schumacher won more because there were more Grand Prixs in his era. If you compare the number of years a player has been world champion, it is not Bradmanesque.

Bolt has a fair case mounting for him but I would wait for a bit more time and more races with consistent speeds before I put him in the same category as Woods.

Schumacher 91 wins in 250 races, Fangio 24 wins in 51 races and others such as Senna and Prost have similar winning strike rates to Schumacher, he just has them for longjevity.

Yeah point taken, although Scumacher does have a suginificantly better win ratio than Senna and Prost. He is only beaten by Ascari and Fangio, who was pretty much always in a championship winning car and that is of course always a big issue when comparing drivers.

Not going to argue that he was anything like as dominant as Bradman in terms of being just that much better than anyone else but his records still dominate the sport in a somewhat similar way.

Not really. Federer is only 28 and has won 15 GS titles; Sampras was 31 when he won his 14th. Jack Nicklaus had won 12 majors by the time he was Woods's age too. Tiger's ahead, but not by that much.

Yeah, I think Brumby's post is perfectly valid. You can make a case for Woods being top dog but it's not beyond doubt.

Emphasis on slightly and there is a lot more physical activity in a hundred sports than golf but it is still incuded in the discussion.

Bit more than that, you actually have to be reasonably fit to play 18 holes a day, 4 days in a row. 36 holes in a day, even more so.

Darts you can be 200kgs apparently and be world champion.

John Daly, Colin Montgomerie and Craig 'The Walrus' Stadler weren't exactly pictures of physical fitness though.
