The Records and Milestones thread

Just somewhere to post whenever someones sets a record or passes a milestone you feel is noteworthy or interesting, especially if it might pass people by for whatever reason

For example, in the currently ongoing SL/India ODI, MS Dhoni completed his 100th ODI stumping, being the first to achieve this.

Oh, and news just in:

Cricinfo
Kohli has become the 100th player to score 10,000 List-A runs. His average is second highest among them behind Bevan (57.86)

Chris Gayle now the first to hit 100 T20I sixes, he's made it to 102 since I went to post this.

SeamUp pointed it out in the match thread, but for those that missed it, Yasir Shah became the first spinner ever to take a 5fer in five consecutive tests

Unless you count Sydney Barnes as a spinner (the overall record seems to be 6, by Barnes, Charlie Turner and Alec Bedser). Slightly surprised that Murali never achieved this.

Kohli has also gotten even with Ponting now and has the second highest number of ODI centuries now,
Kohli now with 31 ODI tons and hence in 2nd place all by himself.

Only 19 to go to overtake Tendulkar! (if we extrapolate and say he plays as many ODIs as Tendulkar whilst maintaining his same rate of tonning up, he'll end up with 71)

31 tons already is absolutely absurd. If he wins a wc off his own bat, or atleast is the top scorer of the tournament, Ill have no hesitation in rating him over Sachin.
