If it's oneday, bet on Freddie.

(on Klusenar, one is decisively the better batter and one decisively the better bowler)

Flintoff and daylight second.

Klusener was a batting allrounder who had to bat in a bowling allrounder's position to be effective. Worked fine for SA but it'd be a problem for another side. Most teams throughout history would try to get more out of him by batting him in the top five or six, and his numbers wouldn't be as good in that role.

Symonds was a gun ODI bat and an ATG fielder but he was really just a good sixth bowling option.

Flintoff was one of the best ODI bowlers of all time - and this is a highly under-appreciated fact when you look at his economy rate compared to the others in his era - and a very good #5 bat. In contention as ODI GOAT for me.
