Surrey wish to confirm that unfortunately the 2 players appearing on the list this week as injuries - E Giddins (disciplinary reasons) and S Mushtaq (Broken Skull) are both related to the same incident.

Considering Saqlains broken skull, Eddie must have taken a cricket bat to him, and to get only 1 week?!?!?! He should be put up for assault!!and become the first ever WCC play to do community service!

He swung the bat with intent for Marc, but we all know that his batting skills aren't the greatest. Subsequently, he missed his target and hit Saqqy instead. Marc cleverly released this press report in an attempt to cover up the on going feud between him and Giddins. He tried to disclaim any responsibility. No doubt he will now be forced to explain himself...

That's my take on the issue anyway. :)
