Stats draft-2014

Am keen to conduct a statistics based draft for us to select as many ATG teams as possible. I have an idea. I can polish it as we go along and see where it takes us. If enough people sign up I am good to go.

This is the order for Round 1.

For Round 1.

Select your opening bowler. He should bowl pace.
Should have taken 3 wickets or more in an innings at least 20 times.
He should average more than 4 wickets per test.
And have a Strike rate under 60 deliveries.

Not to complain, but I automatically get the 10th best fast bowler.

Will see how this progresses.

I expected criteria to be binding both ways (e.g. strike rate between 55 and 60).

Anyways, I have 5 people in mind, so it shouldn't be a problem this round.

so, we will eventually start scraping at the bottom.
Subsequent slots will gave different requirements anyway.

The sixth round, and the last round will be free selections .

But I will outline two conditions before those rounds that will restrict those selections too.
