We need to get these duplicate players sorted out...

K.French SA-ACT
J.Lawson Warwicks-Guyana
A.Dale Lancs-Glam

All the sims have players mixed up, so before any more friendlies are run, ill fix the database so that the stats are right otherwise people will be decieved in trading.....

I will probably do it 2morrow...

we simmed a game and 1 bowler bowled 10.4 overs

Its only displayed improperly in the scorecard shown in the sim.Save it to html and it shud work proper.Anyway I have corrected it.

Since you dont have the files with academy players dont rename them Gb. Just tell me what new names should be given to the players and Ill do it.The editor should be completed soon and it will make the process easier. Heres the complete list of players who need to be renamed :

K French - South Australia ACT
C White - Yorkshire Victoria
M Lewis - Western Australia Victoria
A Dale - Lancashire Glamorgan
M Khan - Karnataka Karachi
J Lawson - Warwickshire Guyana
M Sami - Karachi ACADEMY G


Tell me the new name of the player and the team and Ill do it asap.

Mate i changed them in the original DB you gave me and kept them with the same name and it worked... Let me have a test 2morrow and ill get back to ya...

I have noticed that the ages for the academy players is 19 for all. The real life players will have ages different to this. I will do some research this week and get their real ages to you to change the files. Is that OK.

Sriram have a look at these i think i've changed all the players so they will be indentified correctly... All the double name players should be fine...

seems to be the wrong file u uploaded gb.there are still 2 frenchs and 2 M Khans...

No its the correct file, if you look at the 2 K.French's for example they now have the different Stats, and are recognised as individuals and not the same person....

Tht could cause a problem while saving stats at the end of season gb...I think its best to rename them to something else.

Ok ill give it a test with a few sims and see if it works and then if it plays up ill rename them....

Mate it seems to be working.. Its recording each individuals stats whereas before the 2 K.French's were getting the same stats...

Is it not just quicker to change a K to a R or somthing than run aload of games????

You just want an excuse to play with it don't you Blewy :P :lol:

Add to that, the stats entered into the sim were actually duplicates so Sim's K.French had the same stats as my K.French so i needed to change them to the correct ones anyway...

I said it could cause a problem in the end of season...
The problem tht it wud face is lets say you leave k french in the draft and so do ACT.
Mumbai pick up ur K french in the draft...The sim would have no way of knowing it was the sa K french since they arent allocated teams in the draft list.As I said it wud be best to prevent further comlications..Talk it out with simon..He mite consider renaming his french with a bit of bribing...!!:D :D :D
