Somerset has said today that their new manager, Guy Kerridge, could hold the key towards success in season 4. Kerridge, who was seen hosting a Somerset "Pee Wee Day" today, has had strong past experiences in the coaching/managing field. Although he has never taken hold of state teams, Kerridge road Geelong to three succesive titles in district cricket. After the inconsistant season Somerset has seen out so far, Kerridge's aims are to see out the season with a few good performances, maybe a win, and then look to season 4.
Yesterday at a press conference, reporters tried to spice things up, but to no avail, Kerridge isn't revealing anything. Heres what Kerridge replied when asked about the trading issue.
"Who am I planning to trade? Well, thats a hard one, as i've only been at the club for, what, a week now? I'm not revealing anything." Kerridge was strict in his words.
Kerridge also said that one of his main goals were to see each of the players performances under pressure. "For sure, I'll put them under the spotlight. No player is safe until the end of the season, as they are well aware. I hope to see my most promising players live up to expectations."
