Can you give their bowling mate? Both batsmen had strong batting support in their careers. Both had strong bowling attacks (one clearly stronger of course)
With that being said
Sobers at home 4075 @ 66.80

Away batsmen (1-6) 23383 @ 42.44

Other home batsmen (1-6) 25964 @ 37.57
Away batsmen (1-6) 29165 @ 30.16
Oh I assumed batting only. But sure. Can you give their bowling mate?
Interesting. Hard to say who is better as ARs.Oh I assumed batting only. But sure.
Sobers at home 107 @ 34.12
Other Windies bowlers 541 @ 36.47
Opposition bowlers 606 @ 40.33
Kallis at home 165 @ 30.61
Other SA bowlers 1358 @ 25.83
Opposition bowlers 1163 @ 37.56
Conversely Sobers had a much tougher time bowling and outperformed many bowlers of his own team apparently.Kallis just for his very impressive batting record on relatively tough pitches at home.
The primary discipline for both is batting though, hence much more important and impactful.Conversely Sobers had a much tougher time bowling and outperformed many bowlers of his own team apparently.
Deadbat maybe. There's not a thing in the world that Kallis can do better than Sobers
Well, Kallis was rather beneficial in England too, certainly moreso than SobersDeadbat maybe.
But his batting sucked there oddly.Well, Kallis was rather beneficial in England too, certainly moreso than Sobers
that is what I meant, I'd much rather have our opposition have Jacques Kallis, than Garfield Sobers. But his batting sucked there oddly.
He could do the mash. There's not a thing in the world that Kallis can do better than Sobers
I bet he could bowl better right handed. Might even bat better right handed as well, but that might be too much speculation. There's not a thing in the world that Kallis can do better than Sobers
Sobers did average like 10 more though. It's a tough one.The primary discipline for both is batting though, hence much more important and impactful.
Sobers was a genuine, leading bowler for WI over a good chunk. In fact, it won't be wrong to say he was at times their best and leading bowler. Kallis never took that bowling load. The primary discipline for both is batting though, hence much more important and impactful.
It definitely is quite close but Kallis was the best batsman on his team at home by far despite playing the longest. In matches involving him, Amla is the next best, avging 46.Sobers did average like 10 more though. It's a tough one.
