Should Naseer Retain his place in Onedayer team??

His game is hardly suitable for onedayers,
he eats 80 balls and score 30 runs.Seems to be the perfect medicine for Insomniacs.

Wouldn't England be better off without him??

Hussain definately is good enough to play ODIs from what I saw of him in NZ during the ODIs he batted very aggressively & lead the way with some good scores.

He's a bit like Stephen Fleming in the fact that he rarely goes on to get a big score.

Of course he should, he just spanked a wonderful century against India in the NatWest series final at Lords. He has a good attitude, and is a wonderful captain

Every side needs someone to hold the innings together, and as THorpe has now gone, Nasser is the man. He still scores at a reasonable rate, but because he doesn't play the "big" shots, he seems to be written off in some quarters as a poor player.

I think he should still come in at 3 unless there is a massive opening stand (30 overs or so), in which case he should drop down to allow the big hitters in.

"spanked a century against india"

that was one of the worst one day centuries a person could have ever hit.....

i remember...there were atleast 10 occasions when the ball went nowere near the intended place....

Also I feel he is one of the best close fielders in the game at present and stops a hatful of runs and takes some super catches.
