Dravid did struggle in aus, eng and sa

Apart from one good series

I'd go for Pollock's bowling, his batting also gives him the edge

A very good comparison actually. I will go Dravid, just.

I rate him basically at a strong ATG level, at the level of Australian greats, Chappell and Border, and a little above Ponting.

I love Pollock's bowling, and find it underrated, but I've put about 8 bowlers above him, so I'll end up with Dravid.

Dravid did struggled highly in South Africa (averages around 30) and somewhat in Australia (around 40); but saying he struggled in England, where his average is 68 in 13 matches is a bit......

Dravids average in Aus flatters him. The quality of bowling was very low on the tour he scored his runs. His last series in England was great tho against ATG level bowling

However he faced Fraser, Gough, caddick, cork, white

Last series against Anderson, broad

He did well against the ATG attack of Anderson Broad Swann too tbf. Slow low bouncing wickets weren’t a problem for him. Averaged 29 in SA so pretty overrated against lateral movement
