Couldn't find this thread so here it is. Two of the greatest to ever play the game
Sachin vs Marshall has already been done b4.Will go Sachin with this. Sachin vs Marshall/McGrath should be good
Yeah saw that, that one was really close. I went with Sachin there as well, makes me think should I go not close hereSachin vs Marshall has already been done b4.
And McGrath.Sachin vs Marshall has already been done b4.
Edge McGrath. What's the head-to-head here? The impression I have is it's lopsided in Sachin's favor. Is there any such affair among two legit ATGs? At least Lara got a few huge volleys off against McGrath.
If you compared someone like Sobers to a Lara or Viv or any specialist batsman (not named Bradman) as cricketers, I'd expect it to be lopsided as well. Ditto Imran or Hadlee to specialist bowlers imo. What's the head-to-head here? The impression I have is it's lopsided in Sachin's favor. Is there any such affair among two legit ATGs? Certainly.Edge McGrath.
You can’t be more unique. You are either unique or you aren’tTendulkar easily. Warne overrated because he is more unique.
For him, unique = not Indian. But tbf, when there are so many of us, it's probably understandable. You can’t be more unique. You are either unique or you aren’t
Tendulkar is my favorite batsman ever. But Warne was more of an oddity. For him, unique = not Indian. But tbf, when there are so many of us, it's probably understandable.
Uniqueness is a scale. You can’t be more unique. You are either unique or you aren’t
No it’s not. It literally means being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else. This is not a scale, it is binary.Tendulkar is my favorite batsman ever. But Warne was more of an oddity.
Uniqueness is a scale.
I am struggling to find what was odd about Warne. He was an orthodox leg spinner. People would point out he spun it square. So did Qadir on his good days. Kumble was of much rarer breed given only o'Riely and Chandra had been before him.Tendulkar is my favorite batsman ever. But Warne was more of an oddity.
Nah. Qadir wasn't a huge turner. He had variety. Warne had drift, super sharp spin plus accuracy, the deadly flipper. He was something else.I am struggling to find what was odd about Warne. He was an orthodox leg spinner. People would point out he spun it square. So did Qadir on his good days. Kumble was of much rarer breed given only o'Riely and Chandra had been before him.
So a pink elephant is as unique as Warne? Got it.No it’s not. It literally means being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else. This is not a scale, it is binary.
They are both uniqueSo a pink elephant is as unique as Warne? Got it.
Sure but are they as unique? Unique can also mean peculiar or unusual. They are both unique
