I'd put Holding in that category as well. The only thing he's really lacking is longevity and therefore lack of wickets.

Yeah that's a big thing to lack if your opponent has 700 wickets though. Tho I agree he likely is that class of bowler had he played more.

I'll go Steyn today.

For sure there are the top 3 pacers ahead of the spinners, where I come down on Steyn / Ambrose can vary.

But they are less conditions dependent and are of more value at the top of the innings, so I'll go with them both, then the spinners.

Then in the next tier I'll go Imran, Lillee, Donald, Holding, Wasim etc.
