Better late than never I reckon.

This West Indies performance has been depressing so far. What the **** is going on?

If the Windies are as crap as this, and given the actual standard of the other teams in the group vs their historical reputations, this might be the mostly erroneously named Group of Death there has ever been.

Does the Mills/Jordan axis usually do well in the pyjama stuff? They look so pedestrian.

You guys are overreacting to one game. Windies are always a team of lowly troughs and lofty peaks.
Yeah fair call. Plus **** happens in the pyjama stuff. Awful start though - they'll need to show some resilience to bounce back from this.

Tbh the pitch(es) they used for these games didn't seem exactly ideal. I didn't watch the England/WI game, but the pitch for Aus/SA seemed weirdly tacky and inconsistent. Not hard to bat on per se, just unpredictable and difficult to time shots. Didn't make for a great spectacle. If the other game was like that too, it might be hard to get a good read on these sides when they play on more standard T20 pitches.

It's been this way for most of the second leg of the IPL. Teams should definitely have known what to expect.

The cake type innings like Smith and Markram played in this game could end up being crucial in this tournament.

Can't be long before the Warner/Finch combination is split up, one way or another.

We need more from our top 3. Hope the pitch for the next game is better.

When batsmen with a good eye but less than top class foot movement get to their mid 30's form often starts to deteriorate and selectors end up having to tap someone on the shoulder.
