what about that lbw that pitched about half a foot outside leg stump? That is shocking for someone on the top eight panel...
did he give out vaughan too? that was a bad decision...

i think the problem is bad with him, but it is worse down the other end with orchard, the umpiring has been so bad this match, mostly in englands favor too!!! (all except for vaughn)

Give it a rest please!

How many decisions have gone Australia's way in the previous 4 Tests?

Just because you've had a couple of bad ones in this one, you have to keep moaning.

Yeah look Australia have had a few decisions go our way during the series, and even in this game.. But i think the annoying thing in this game is we finally have a contest and then we have the Umpires making real dodgy calls which takes away from the game...

But in saying that, im still very confident Australia can win...

360 in a day is not out of the question, the pitch isn't that bad and we have alot of batting and players capable of doing damage, heres to a great final day of the Ashes Series...

360 is a big ask, that not only requires 100s, but big ones at that...

The World Record for the Highest Fourth Innings Total to win is 406/4.

I'm confident in England.

Im not doubting England are Favourites, this has never been done in over 100 years of Cricket..

BUT this Australian side has chased big totals before, the one in Hobart against Pakistan in very much the same circumstances against a much tougher attack is the standout...

One thing that makes me a bit more confident is Andy Caddick laughing at suggestions Australia can still win...

I think England need to be careful they aren't to ****y cause something may just sneak up on them.....

Irony one of your specialities is it GB?

The way England have played here it would be a miracle for them to lose.

By the way, why did Bichel come in at 3?

The Talk over here was Steve Waugh sent him in to take the shine off the ball, negate the swing so the batsman didn't have so much a tough time against it...

It worked in a way, he hit a bludgening 49* but on the way we lost Haydos and Punter...

Also another point, Just heard the Curator of the SCG on the radio and he said there is no reason why the Aussies can't hit the runs today. He said there will be the occasional ball keep low and the occassional 1 take off but he said all in all there is no real great deamons in the wicket....

yeah well englands bowling has not been that great this match, they had a couple take off from the pitch (ponings n the first innings)etc also, we must get no more umpiring shockers!!! and someone martyn, waugh, love (remember those 2 double tons) or gilly mustt make a big hundred with support

but if anyone can make the runs australia can

Ok iam not sure where you heard this, but in about 3 different interviews i've heard him in, he has said the same thing... it's still tough but if we get in there and take a few wickets early then we are confident we can go on and win.

Never did he mock the Aussies or say that they don't stand a hope in hell of winning.....

Hmmmm, England's bowling has been good enough to get Australia out for 363, which is a long way behind the total they need to chase. Also although I respect Love and think he should stay in the team I've got one word in reply to your comment about his 2 double tons, and that is QUACK!!!

doesn't mean anything, as you should know, Vaughan got a duck in the first innings
At least our players are respectful and don't go around smashing the place up if they get a decision that doesn't go their way.

yeah well at least most of our team are interesting to watch bat (strike rate for acreer above 50)

Well it sorta means he got no runs and the way Love got out...he could easily get a pair that way...

So what? England have still done well, and Vaughan hasn't been particually defensive has he?

vaughan (and maybe tresco) are the exception rather than the rule, whereas in the AUs team the test SR's are all above 50 except for martybn and steve waugh who are like 48 and 49 respectivley

also Vaughn could have easily got a pair the way he got out in the first innings, he got lucky in the the new ball for aussies in the 2nd innings didn't seem to want to swing much at all

It doesn't matter about strike rates, it matters weather they get runs.

As for your comment on Vaughan, he didn't get out, he stayed in, and your just bitter because he scored 183 and took the match just about out of Australia's reach...
