360 is a big ask, that not only requires 100s, but big ones at that...Gregory Blewett said:Yeah look Australia have had a few decisions go our way during the series, and even in this game.. But i think the annoying thing in this game is we finally have a contest and then we have the Umpires making real dodgy calls which takes away from the game...
But in saying that, im still very confident Australia can win...
360 in a day is not out of the question, the pitch isn't that bad and we have alot of batting and players capable of doing damage, heres to a great final day of the Ashes Series...
Ok iam not sure where you heard this, but in about 3 different interviews i've heard him in, he has said the same thing... it's still tough but if we get in there and take a few wickets early then we are confident we can go on and win.Gregory Blewett said:One thing that makes me a bit more confident is Andy Caddick laughing at suggestions Australia can still win...
I think England need to be careful they aren't to ****y cause something may just sneak up on them.....
I say, your a bit ****y arn't you anyway the Aussie team are the ****iest I know of, that's partly the reason why they found themselves in this position and Hayden and Gilly with a fine...Gregory Blewett said:I think England need to be careful they aren't to ****y cause something may just sneak up on them.....
Hmmmm, England's bowling has been good enough to get Australia out for 363, which is a long way behind the total they need to chase. Also although I respect Love and think he should stay in the team I've got one word in reply to your comment about his 2 double tons, and that is QUACK!!!age_master said:yeah well englands bowling has not been that great this match, they had a couple take off from the pitch (ponings n the first innings)etc also, we must get no more umpiring shockers!!! and someone martyn, waugh, love (remember those 2 double tons) or gilly mustt make a big hundred with support
but if anyone can make the runs australia can
At least our players are respectful and don't go around smashing the place up if they get a decision that doesn't go their way.age_master said:doesn't mean anything, as you should know, Vaughan got a duck in the first innings
Well it sorta means he got no runs and the way Love got out...he could easily get a pair that way...age_master said:doesn't mean anything, as you should know, Vaughan got a duck in the first innings
So what? England have still done well, and Vaughan hasn't been particually defensive has he?age_master said:yeah well at least most of our team are interesting to watch bat (strike rate for acreer above 50)
It doesn't matter about strike rates, it matters weather they get runs.age_master said:vaughan (and maybe tresco) are the exception rather than the rule, whereas in the AUs team the test SR's are all above 50 except for martybn and steve waugh who are like 48 and 49 respectivley
also Vaughn could have easily got a pair the way he got out in the first innings, he got lucky in the the new ball for aussies in the 2nd innings didn't seem to want to swing much at all
