TN Delighted With Great Victory over Leics

Lecestershire won the toss and elected to bat on a good TN wicket. But it was TN who started well when Webster bowled Anderton for 4 with the score on 12. Alot of starts from other Leics batsmen helped them to a decent score, but they needed someone to go on and get 70 odd. In the end no-one got over 50 and Leicestershire managed 225 all out.

TN Bowling Card:

N Kumble 10 1 27 2
R Webster 7.2 0 29 2
D Wright 10 0 49 2
Y Singh 10 0 60 4
S Clark 10 0 48 0

TN then knocked off the runs in under 45 overs. Like the Leics innings just about every batsman got a start, bar Parlane and Van Jaarsveld. But no-one went on to get a 50.

Swann 48
Van Jaarsveld 9
Ganguly 46
Parlane 10
Singh 43*
Chapman 20*

I'm happy to see all of my bats play well, but more importantly the bowler's really fired for us.
