RIP Bishen Singh Bedi

BazBall21

International Captain
A leading figure along with Sunil Gavaskar and Bhagwat Chandrasekhar in putting Indian cricket on the map. Had the honour of captaining his country which is rare for a bowler. Outspoken, distinctive and passionate character. Legend of the sport left us today.

Ashes81

State Vice-Captain
Sad news.

I saw alot of Bedi bowling for India and Northants - quite simply the best action I've seen from a slow left arm spinner.

His stats bear out just how fine a bowler he was.

Whatever it takes!!!
Legend. :( RIP.

Did not always agree with his views and his witch-hunt on Murali was yuck, but he always seemed to be someone who wanted what is best for cricket and spoke his mind.

And obviously one of the greatest spinners of all time to have played the game.

Did result in my personal favourite "800 runouts" quote though. So simple yet brutal

RIP Bedi

RIP legend! Never had a pleasure of watching you bowl but heard lots of talks of being the greatest left arm spinner!
