Rahul Dravid did not perform well against the top teams - Avg 33 against SA and 38 against Australia.
Dravid had a big problem with pace and bounce, and factor in Warnie who constantly dominated him and you get thise stats, one of the finest players of the moving ball I've seen tho.

I think @sayon basak has posted a list of performances vs spinners, that totally debunks Dravid being dominated by Warne or any other spinner for that matter. He has a near ATG series in WI vs Walsh, Bishop and Ambrose in some pretty spicy tracks and while he only has 2 centuries vs Australia, both are ATG daddy tons coming in India's two most important wins in the whole span of his career.

Those stats were only post 2000s because ball by ball data before that is limited IIRC. Warne did get Dravid out cheaply quite a bit before that. The idea that he was dominated is fanciful though.

Post 2000 then Dravid scored a healthy 61 runs against Warne alone for each time he fell to him. He may have very well lost his wicket to Warne for cheap a few times, but I find it hard to say it was some Cullinanesque issue.

of any bowler, Warne has gotten Dravid the most and Dravid averages 33 when Warne has played, so I'd say Warne definitely had the upper hand on him. Dravid in Australia had that series in 2004-5 where the pitches were extremely flat and Australia didn't have their full power attack, definitely a great series but not enough to make up for all his other failiures in Australia and South Africa for me considering the wickets and the attack. rate the windies series highly tho.

Dravid played four series each in SA and Aus and was only really class in one each. He definitely let down in those places.

I am tempted to rank ABD ahead because on pure ability he was more quality than Dravid against pace and spin (not lateral). It's just that ABD didn't have a full career and did downhill skiing but his overall record isn't really weak at all.

Pre 2000 Dravid was still a quality bat in his prime so that should count.

ABD's batting position hurts him.
