R.Dravid/Scotland

It been confirmed that Scotland wish to aquire the services of R.Dravid for next season.

Scotland have been granted a place in the English One Day leauge as of the start of the 2003 season and have attempted to aquire the services of R.Dravid after S.Tendulkar turned them down, it's said that R.Dravid is very keen after enjoying a season with Kent two years ago to return to England and the offer from Scotland seems a go down better than a very demanding county season, as Scotland would only require his services for 20 games rather than a county team that will play 32 games + knockout comps.

As of next season I had heard, probably with the Scots (though I didn't know they were coming... what's this going to do to Promotion and Relegation?

They are going into Div 2... So unless a unexpected run of wins happen they won't effect it to much :D

So it's 9 teams in D1 and 11 in D2?

Scotland would only require his services for 20 games
Maybe so. But we don't need to increase fixture congestion....

Or does that 20 include SuperCup and C&G Games? again

Hmm.. I'm sure I read somewhere that Holland were coming for a three-year period starting 2003. Or maybe it was Scotland. Can't remember...

All-rounders or not, I have a suspicion that the Indian lower order batting needs to come good if they are to save this test cos England is really looking at a huuuuuge score.
