Blewy

Cricketer Of The Year
Before i announce the decision on behalf of the QLD Cricket Association, i would like to thank all people who applied for the position..
The applications were very good and it was a tough decision...
After discussing the applicants with my fellow board member Bugssy Malone, we have decided that the person to take over from Slats as the QLD manager will be the Glamorgan Manager The Argonaut...
His performances over the time he has been with the WCC have been impressive despite being with a lower ranked team, he has got the best out of his team on many occassions and we feel he is the man to help QLD rise further in the WCC..

Congratulations to The Argonaut and commiserations to all other applicants, we thank you for the Interest....

I would now like to Make available the Glamorgan job to any current managers please be quick if u are interested as i want to settle teams ASAP...

The Argonaut

State Vice-Captain
Press statement from the Argonaut:

Although I am sad to be leaving Glamorgan who are palying above their abilities at present, the pull of managing my home state was too much to ignore. I wish the future Glamorgan manager well and he will enjoy drinking with this bunch. Saurav Ganguly in particular has outdone himself on many occasions and has led from the front.

To the Queensland boys nothing but the best will be tolerated and I look forward to challenging in the top division this season. I also thank Slats for having the team in great shape this season so far.

My leaving Glamorgan may also lead to Marc betting against them again but let us hope that the punters who do so continue to lose tons of money.

A well deserved promotion - well done Arg - you've done wonders with a small team of sheep-shaggers so I guess you can move to an Aussie team now - if it doesn't work out and you miss the sheep, I'm sure you can get a job in NZ!

But I never said anything about the mating habits of Kiwi's, just pointed out that NZ has a lot of sheep if he experiences withdrawal symptoms!
