In a bold and exciting move Western Province have created a new position in the club, Assisstant Manager. The position has been created so as to give new manager gibbsnsmith a taste of the real action of WCC and working behind the scenes at a major club. This will aid him in working things out for when he is given his own club to run and hopefully he can run them to glory.
He will be helping out manager Slats4ever in every aspect of a managers role until he is offered a spot at another club. He will not be making any official announcments such as team submissions or confirming trades, these will still come from Slats4ever.
Western Province invite any club to approach Gibbsnsmith over MSN about trades as he has been well drilled as what is expected at Province.
Slats4ever is looking forward to this new horizon for the club and hopefully both men will be rewarded.
Finally the club welcomes Gibbsnsmith and hopes he has an enjoyable and learning experience at the club.
