Potential new rules

Your both right and both wrong
Firstly I understand Marcs views, every (and I mean every) decsion that we the board have made someone has said it's wrong.
- Non trading of Rookies
- Non Trading of DP's
- Equal Trades only in transfers
- All - Star series
+ All the others that i've missed off
However Graham makes a valid point in that everyone is entilted to their point of view and offer suggestions.... Iam sure a couple of the things WCC involdes wouldn't be here otherwise.
But you need to remember that the Board aren't against you here and we are only trying to improve the game, at the very very start Myself and GB spoke about how unfair the 1st season was going to be with teams like NSW, QLD etc just running away with it, so we decided that we want to even the teams up as much as possible over time, to make the game alot more intresting so games involing teams like NSW wouldn't be so predictable. I understand you all want to win your games but surly a tight and unexpecting contest is so much more intresting than running away with a leauge.... I can tell you myself and Marc are having a great time with our Div 2 battle (just got closer Marc
)
The draft rules inparticular might remove some excitiment from the game, but are there to achieve our long term goals of making the WCC a tightly contested comp etc
The All-Star series is an annual series that bring the elite togeter, I really can't see your problem with it... I mean myself personally would rather participate in a All-Star series watching my Kent players destory the Div 1/3 teams, and you should see it as a previlage to be picked as the All-Star manager it's the WCC equivant to being picked to manager your national side.
And lastly whenever there has been a meetiing announced nobody has ever U2U'd me with any suggestions & reason's to be bought up on their behalf etc

Well I think the trading of players you don't even have yet is getting a bit silly. I mean you may own a player but he doesn't join you till the beginning of the season yet several people just keep trading players for other players days after they have aquired them. We could have the situation where I could trade my best player for someone then have him offered to me for another of my good players...that's just kind of odd and I think the system needs to be looked at.

I think everyone has a right to their opinion. If someone has an idea to make the game better we have a right to put it foward and if the board decide that its not going to iimplement it, well that just bad luck.
But we play the game too and should have a say in what we can and cant do as far as rules go.
Marc when gb comes back you will be like us, just a normal player, so if you start trying to get rich and brendon to change rules that will be just hypocritical.

I seem to remember that he wasn't the only one at the open meeting, when I came up with the suggestion that was ultimately implemented, and as I'd previously come up with good suggestions, my promotion to the board was ratified.
If you don't agree with it, then I guess that's your problem, but AFAIK, none of the board have aproblem with me.

as a board member all the above points are very good points. everyone ie entitled to there opinion however as rich said when we have meetings we ask everyone if they want us to bring up a valid point in the meeting but nothing ever gets to us.
we are trying to make the div and teams as equal as possible so u dont have a runnaway winner. if u look at div 1 in the od i dont think it could be any closer.
its all about making the game fun and on a level playing field.
lets all try to work together to make this the best pbem ever and keep it going for ages to come.
