Both awesome bowlers, however who would you think is possibly harder to face? Cummins at his metronomic best from Ashes 2019 or Bumrah bowling those freak spells in West Indies?

Subjective opinions are welcomed as well!

Bumrah's swing control is crazy.
He's a bit like bowling version of Lara, has those kind of days where he could get Root out a dozen of times and then goes cold bowling harmless spells. Cummins rarely bowls freak spells but doesn't go cold like Bumrah.

Bumrah doesn't bowl badly though even when cold. I do think maybe pick Cummins since he seems to lift his game in the 4th innings.

I kinda disagree, there is very little to separate between the two in terms of consistency..

I think Cummins has a much better support attack than Bumrah has for India , so maybe when Bumrah has an off day it makes it seem like there is a big issue with his consistency when it's more to do with a lack of support..

I feel Bumrah is a bit more skillful than Cummins but Cummins plays for a team that handles big moments better. Also Cummins is more reliable fitness wise in recent history , where as Bumrah has struggled to overcome injuries combined with a relatively late introduction into test cricket.

Not from 2018 to 2020.
