Pakistan cricket downfall

Iam indian fan who used to cherish our rivalry with pakistan during 00s and 10s while growing up used to be big fan of younis khan misbah afridi and asif but recently pak have fallen esp last two years their batting is abysmal bowling mediocre fielding bad what do you think is reason behind this? Bad domestic structure? lack of quality talent comming up or internal politics

It's the culmination of the entire cricket system failure but mainly it's the unprofessional attitude of players since the past few years. We make cricketers into heroes too quickly and they become prima donnas. We give losers like Babar the captaincy because it's a crowd pleaser and don't course correct even when he fails.

This team is not as bad as the results show. It's the team culture and horrible captaincy that is to blame.

What do you think can be solution to clear the mess and get pak cricket back on track?

Got a feeling that adulation that babar gets is not something which atgs like imran wasim and maindad got even there were prone to criticism but babar gets free pass and they were trying to bulid cult over him like we did to sachin and kohli hero worship is not a good thing i believe

Babar's captaincy pressures clearly affected his form. On top of that the team environment is quite negative overall.

A short term solution to me is to make Rizwan captain in tests if not all formats and try to shift the team culture towards results without any triumphalism.
