All but 2 teams submitted, one of these will be sacked now i believe. Apart from that it was a good round, some close games and some not so close ones. Well done to the winners.

Auckland manage to win a super match... Winning by 1 run was a little heartstopping but a good win... hopefully this sets the tone for the future...

Nice bowling performance, but Jones bowling is still a worry. Good to see Tweedie in the wickets and runs, his best game outside the cup this season. Batsmen batted too slow and middle order collaspe is worrying. Still a lot of work to be done, if we are going to push Queensland, B+.

Great win for TN. Things are starting to look good for us in OD. Just need the bowlers to keep putting in good performances because the batting has been brilliant all season.

G'day all, I'd like to quickly appologise to Simon and Mashonaland for my non-submittal last night. Truth be told, I not only had work but there was a cricketing disaster for my club which i needed to put out, sorry and let's hope it wont happen again!

if a team has a 2nd xi manager and the first xi manager gets sacked. does the first xi position go straight to the 2nd xi manager or does it get advertised?

When Markus and Gaurav resigned (though only temporary in Gaurav's case) it went straight to the 2nd XI manager, if they were willing to take it on.

well if we think that 2nd XI manager deserves a chance we will offer it to them straight away, if we dont think they are ready we will advertise, we'd like to see a situation where the 2nd XI manager can step up but it wont be possible in all cases...
