Cricketer Of The Year
nsw jumped to the top of the div 1 one day table with a solid win of bottomless yorkshire (sorry mate). with fellow country team sa knocking of the leaders. nsw jumped to top with a better n.r.r.

nsw started in emphatic fashin with a shetty going early but then a great partnership between jones 99(104) and kallis144(118) seen them take the score to 235. gatrix 50 (38) and lee 47(24) seen nsw take the total up to 5 - 372.

in reply yorkshire did well and with the total they got would have won most one day games but 9 - 273 just wasnt enough.
the pick of the yorkshire bats was S Weir 88 (66) and G Hamilton 69(74). pick of the nsw bowlers was J Kallis with 2 - 42 of 10 overs, gatrix ferguson and moore all picking up wickets..

nsw to the top and will fight it out ith lancashire for the title in the last round of the one day game.....

International Captain
Warwickshire win

Daniel Howarth dislocated shoulder which saw him also rupture is rotar cuff mid week ending his season, meaning Warwickshire fielded a much weaker side to the one which had played some of the season's opening fixtures.

Mike Pascoe was his usual brilliant self capturing a further 2 wickets to take his season's haul to 28. But with no Ismael Nelson ,Ben Gregson continuing to struggle in the one day, and general lack of quality bowler, Western Australia scored one of their better totals a in while with 285/5. Burns made 96.

In reply Warwickshire showed what had been lacking in the past few weeks. Senior continued his brilliant season with 87. He shared an opening stand with Sathish backing him up with 73. Their stand of 164 was one day 1st wicket record for Warwickshire. At 170/2 is seemed Western Australia had a sniff but Kripal Singh, Rowell, and Wright played excellent knocks to ensure Warwickshire got home with more than 6 overs to spare.

Division 2 is set for a dramatic final weekend with 3 teams locked at the top of the table.

At the end of the game it was also announced that Pascoe was headed back to Australia, after joining Warwickshire in pre season from Victoria, to join Tasmania. Tyrone Rowell who has been with Warwickshire for two seasons will also join him
