Karachi bowlerd for 137 and looking down the barrel of a certain defeat before 4 RUNOUTS and some good tight bowling saw Somerset be rolled for 79.

Karnataka are up to second place in the OD table after another thumping victory in pyjama cricket. Khalid Ali bowled a tight spell early on, grabbing Tendulkar with the last ball of the first over, and from then on it was uphill struggle for Yorkshire. Wickets fell regularly as Yorkshire were bundled out inside two thirds of their allotted overs - Aditya Jones the pick with 3/20, while Khalid Ali's 5-3-7-2 also deserves mention. Sanjay Borde, the rock in the middle order, played a stroke-filled 58 to guide Karnataka to victory after Eddie "Eagle" Howarth had crashed-and-burnt after a highly risky 39 off 27 balls - being lbw to Paul Adams, of all people. With NSW going down badly to Lancashire, failing to chase 298 despite having nine wickets in hand, Karnataka are looking like a serious title challenger if they can pull the same act against Lancashire on the explosive Bangalore pitch.

Why are you so disappointed? you knew that was always going to be the result agaisnt the boys from Kent :p

I wouldn't be to upset mate, Kent went about 5 weeks before we got our first win, however we have now only lost 1(?) in about 8/9 weeks, so it can all change pretty quickly.

Ah yes, I can almost remember the days when Rennie Plummer was a bowler... A couple of centuries later and he's a batting phenom! It would be good if he could do his job and get some wickets though. :@

Worcestershire waited until the one week that I forgot to submit my team, and then turned in easily our best performance of the season :(

It was a season defining moment of inexcusable forgetfulness on my behalf. Had I submitted a team, we would be very much aiming high, for a top 2 spot. As it is, my only goal now is to stave off relegation.

Not quiet top 2 spot, still a game or so down on us :p But thanks for the non submit, my boys had a big night prior.

Yeah, well I mean I would have been aiming for a top 2 spot, now the best I can hope for is mid-table obscurity. But I had a good night on Thursday which somewhat makes up for it

Qld returned to form by flogging top of the table Warwickshire. If only the team could translate the form that it had in beating Tamil Nadu and Warwickshire into the rest of their games.
