hey all
am new to the forum as well as all these fancy message icons so please forgive any first-time message icony faux pas...
surely mcgrath and sarwan slugging it out verbally wasn;t really a sight that cricket didn't need - i think it gave the game that nervous edge where you know something pretty special is about to happen and the crowd are getting all worked up and so on...it was enthralling stuff anyhow...
and rumours that sarwan suggested mcgrath's wife was a better hooker than he (sarwan) are unfounded.
anyhow - this is going to be short and sweet for now - work calls..
one thing - anyone know where i can get some info on ehsan mani, president of icc to be....
thanks
oz

I reckon you might just be right there. That McGrath/Sarwan spat may be to this series what was Steve Waugh and Curtly Ambrose in 1994/95 - something that still lingers on today and defines the emergence of Waugh as the gutsiest cricketer around.

Perhaps big things for Sarwan?

Anyway, welcome to the forum Osman :)

But where there's forums with them, there's other nationalities missing - here we have every other major side represented.

Welcome, Osman.

We're a pretty cosmopolitan lot here with at least 15 countries represented that I know of - all united in the love of our glorious game.

DeGroot is not Canada's to claim. He's a West Indian by heritage (Guyanese to be specific) and we would like to take credit for his genius.
