No one in history has less looked forward to a tour than this one.

Itinerary:

Test whitewash
Plucky underdogs win a couple of meaningless limited overs games
Switch channels to Australian Master Chef

Given that there are so few SA and Windies posters here, I will post Australian Master Chef updates to keep the thread alive.

And then AB will troll Blocky by telling everyone that we are the bestest at ODIs, when we are clearly ****ing hopeless at it.

Is it just me or is that squad a tad....iffy?

If Bauvma and Rabada were white.....

A series that might bring solace to RSA that all is well with their team strength..... when it is visibly not.

Rabada seems a fair enough call. Nothing wrong with putting a successful young bloke on the fast track - if you back him you back him.

Bauvuma harder to argue for. What's his last season like?

Done fairly well, but we are struggling in that area. And he's not going to play, so it's a bit moot. Seamup will know more than me.

Philander has always been a fat slob. It was Kirsten who recognised that even fat slobs can bowl terrible teams out, like Aus, NZ, Pak, Windies.

Had a decent 2013/14 season, was 6th in overall runs scored in the Sunfoil Series, scored 714 at an average just under 40. Van Zyl was first, with only Ontong, David White (currently injured), Divan van Wyk, and Andrew Puttick ahead of him.

He also had a good A series in Australia over the winter, so he as an OK pick. Probably some politics behind his selection, but he is certainly no quota player.

Same could be said of Rabada, he is there on merit. If you're good enough you're old enough. Remember Steyn made his Test debut when he was only 21.

Moonda on Cricinfo in her pre-sqaud selection article had Behardien down as a possible pick for the Test squad.

The mind boggles. She must be the only professional cricket writer who knows nothing about the game.
