I hope so - they will definitely be my third team in the contest (behind England and Jack's Aussies).

Mmmmmmm, got a taste for bhat now - much nicer than blood.
I,m sure Roy Dias must be helping the boys with good b(h)at, dal and curries in SL.

The same Uganda who thumped Ireland today, with a 14 year old taking 3/43?
This just proves it, there is nothing called "upset" at the u-19 level. All teams except USA, have a chance to win it out here. USA are the only no-hopers as a 10 wicket thrashing by Bangladesh shows it.

Uganda, are in a super-tough pool with 2 favourites, Pakistan and Bangladesh present in their pool.

Australia, still have yet to show signs of domination at u-19 level, otherwise the way they are playing, they might have to contain themselves with the plates. They, are grouped alongwith South Africa and West Indies and still West Indies, look like the favourites from that pool.

The most surprising of all is that Nepal are the favouirtes of pool D and have a decent chance to get into the semis, all this despite the fact that their senior team is a non-entity at the international level currently.

And Bangladesh, known as minnows at the senior level, are one of the favourites at the u-19 level.

It looks as if in the u-19 level, the cricketing world has turned topsy-turvy:wacko:

Thought I probably should point out the fact that Nepal sent down 31 wides in Scotland's 189. Their opening bowler's 6-0-34-3 contained 18 wides.

Can I also point out that upcoming superstar Bangladesh all-rounder (who, mark my words, will be the world's best all-round spinner) got 53 off 39 balls, with 10 fours.

As hosts usually don't win their own tournaments, I would be happy if SL not win it or even lost to one of the following Teams I support :) .

I would be supporting Bangladesh (No1 ) , Nepal (No 2), USA (No 3) and West Indies (No 4) in that order .

Just checked out the scorecards, and laughed when I saw Jack opening the bowling.

He`s had a good economy rate, but needs some wickets.

Jeez, that NZ scorecard is horrible. I don't know why our batting looks so shaky because there are some good batsmen in there. The only one I know personally is Nick Fitzgerald since I played age group rep cricket with him but I've heard quite a few people rating some of the other guys in there very highly.

Being a Pakistani i would naturally go for Pakistan but their current U19 is simply HOPELESS and we are defending champions so i am not worrying too much aout our team.

I would defiinitely like to see teams like Windies, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh PERFORMING really well because they really need some boost.

Realistically i would love it if Kiwis win this U19 world cup otherwise West Indies.

Go KIWIS!!!!!! I won't support them if they play Pakistan though:cool:
