Sodhi isn't a t20 #8 though, they don't have batting below 8 and santner has never made runs batting #7. When you look at a teamsheet as a bat and see a bottom 5 like that it makes you contain the way you score.

This NZ whiteball team really does feel like the conway show without kane. If he gets out cheaply the rest don't seem to consistently score.

Are these boundaries fairly small? Mitchell definitely didn't middle that pull and it cleared the boundary easily, phillip's top edge slog sweep was 5m of going for 6 earlier aswell despite him getting nowhere near all of it.

That was such an odd looking shot from santner. Looked like he shaped to ramp then decided to pull when the ball was at his neck.

Yeah they look tiny.

Chapman didn't have a good time out there v Sundar :(
He deserved a chance in the ODI matches. When you don't play for ages and get thrown into 20/20 there's not much room for error and you have the
stress of having to get on with it almost straight away. Harsh on the young man the way he's been fiddled around.

Yep, the long and short of it. A lot of these guys have played relatively few T20s, mind. Though I think they should persist with Chapman instead of KW. Kane shouldn't be in the T20 side for my money. Or anywhere near it.

Indian grounds are seldom big these days, they think the one in Rajasthan is big because it has 80m on one corner

That was quite the ball from Bracewell, shades of how John Bracewell dismissed A.Border on a few occasions 30+ years ago.
Pitching on leg on a good length and beating the batsman with spin to hit off stump.
