Bracken would've been a better choice in this test match, it's been hugely overcast all days bar 1. He would've been extremely dangerous.
Was this early morning iffy weather forecast, or is it a regular occurrence?

Hilarious scorecard at present. Gibbs 53, next highest score is 5, with only four batsmen.

Well with this current weather I going to say the game is slipping out of Australia's grasp, but it is also slipping out of South Africa's.

Australia is going to need a great couple of overs to win this. While South Africa is going to be making a lead, it wont be enough of a lead.

But Australia don't need to win it, that's the thing.

The Smith lbw decision was a pretty bad one, but it was hardly shocking. When I first saw it I thought it could have been out, but may have been going over the top a bit. Obviously it turned out to be going over by quite a bit, but it wasn't a terrible call.

The forecast was "Showers and Overcast" according to the weather channel.
Correct so far. Interesting to see what SA do if they get out to bat later, I guess they have to get a lead of 300plus and leave themselves an hour to bowl tonight. Hopefully this rain will go away, then we could be in for an interesting last day with Aus batting to save the series.

I've been to the SCG the last three days and today i got maggot on the bondary and started getting stuck in to the south africans.

I made AB DeVilliers laugh at one stage cos I kept on crapping on and calling him Fanie. Then I got more maggot and started calling Pollock "Ranger".

I'm about 10 km from the SCG and it's not raining. It's a bit gloomy but it's hardly dark.

I'm about 10-15km away from the SCG as well and it's not raining here either...

Nine's commentators are busy wondering why there's no play right now....but I guess that since play is due to start again at 2:30 PM local time they can stop wondering... 8-)

I don't think it takes a degree in Afrikaans to know what a kaffir means! Still whoever it is it's pretty shocking behaviour and I hope the authorities come down nice and hard on them..
Seriously, I don't know one person who knows what a "kaffir" is. I still don't know what it is, after it being in the news and all! :D

But with the fairly large numbers of SA expats in WA, it might be a bit different.
