Good stuff! Mamesh, Hancock, myself, Jasotharan and Nayak all making half centuries (shame Mamesh and Nayak weren't able to make it to 100, they both deserved it) really set us up for this game,

Well done to the Colts, Thamba you really deserved a hundred there, bad luck mate.

I would liked a hundred too, but i think i will 'try' and save the big scores for the main games . Really looking forward with batting with Nick again, it was great fun out in the middle with you in the first. I kind of hope Nick can score some runs in the next game as opener, so i can open with him in the first comp game if i get selected.

How are the percentages determined? Random exponential function?

Can't believe we couldn't exploit 14 wides. Good to see Langley getting a fifty on Red debut, though, nice ingenious late order hitting from Mr Gray too (looks like I might be out of a job in one-day cricket...*mutter*)

Tough luck there Reds, but good play by Langley and Gray for their fifties, and some nice bowling from Borcich, despite going for a few. I'm happy with my 1/22 off 8 though.

Hopefully we can lift our performances next time around guys.

Good win Blues, great late hitting. Our bowling was very good for 30 overs, the other 20 a bit of a worry. And too many wides! I would hope for no more than two/three from Adam and myself.

Bennett's woes continue

As if God were playing a cruel joke on young Sean Bennett, he now has injury woes to add to his financial struggles. No confirmation as to the cause of the injury, but the Red physio has diagnosed Bennett with a broken cheekbone which will keep him out of the next four (4) games, causing him to miss the first two (2) games of the season.

No comment from the Red camp as yet.
