bowling Kenny was awesome.
It was a toe edge that bounced down off my foot, up onto my helmet, rolled down my shoulder, off my forearm, down onto my gloves, then onto the stumps.

Let's not forget that the Reds struggled last year, and they've lost their best bowler since.
Dare I say it? We've still got our 2 best bowlers (Watt and Kennett). Kyle, Dave and David are all so good that it's unfair to say one is better than the other. Going by averages, Dave is the best (381 @ 26.86), David is second (409 @ 27.35) and Kyle third (345 @ 32.23).

Kyle was a big loss, but we've got Borcich and Cameron to fill that void left by him. Not quite Test spearheads, but Borcich's 44 wickets @ 24.02 and Cameron's 2 wickets @ 113.00 is enough for me! :D

Well, we bowled reasonably well for the most part but the batsmen were shocking. A lot rests on the middle order of a side and a vast array of single-figure scores does no-one any good. Serious work to do ahead of the OD game which has disaster written all over it unless we buck our ideas up.

Simon Jones
Ash Chaulk (wk)
Chris Butler
David Kearsley
Alex Blackman
Mike Wilson (vc)
Jerome Josy
Callum Thompson
Gareth Gooljar
Chris Broadbent

Probably should clarify the decision on vice-captaincy with Richards missing the OD team - there will be situations when both Dave and I are missing - and those situations are also pretty likely to correspond with International calls for Ash, Kears and/or Chris. Future in mind!

Well bowled Nath, encouraging that you may have got your form back. Now I need to follow suit! And the batsmen did a reasonable job (Popat, Currie, Crampton in particular).

solid start guys, plenty to build on though :)

Great stuff from Sajith and Weber with the ball, and Resha and Cunningham with the bat :)
