WELL DONE REDS!

Bit concerned about the Colts, this is the Bangladesh that I remember the XI losing a test to.

Meh. Rubbish bowling, batting and fielding from myself, a few promising performances from others though. Nath's five wicket haul in particular. I counted 23 dropped catches in the Blue v Red game (2 by me 8-)) - a bit ridiculous really.

Good stuff Reds!

Great start to the season. Am stoked to have pulled off a good second innings bowling effort, hopefully I can keep it up and force my way into the four day side. Great stuff from Nayak (5 wickets and 44 isn't bad!), and good batting from Robbins, Dobson and Mork with a typical 72 off 214. Let's keep it up guys.

Still keeping some big guns in the locker-room, champing at the bit to get out in the middle!!!

Nice win. Good performances all round, really, could have asked for a bit more spunk with the bat in the first innings (duck...*mutter*), but certainly fought back well in the second. Thoroughly well bowled. Five byes and four drops.

As for Bangladesh...they can't play pace. Nuff said.

I find that Colts win absolutely astonishing... and ridiculous! The CWXI couldn`t win a Test series against them, and some random bunch of youngsters thrashes them? Well done to Kyle and Daniel, you`ve transformed a bunch of unheards into a force to be reckoned with. If that`s a sign of things to come... I`m running scared! Congratulations to you all, an amazing team effort.

Watch out everyone, when you play us it won't be a walkover. I'd say a few of us are disappointed we didn't get to bat twice. I am very upset with only getting 1 run. Unfortuntely no century though.

And now on the Blue performance... sorry boys, but we won`t get the same good rap.

Well done to Cribb opening the batting. Big effort, staying out there for 95 balls against that quality bowling is a good effort. And Popa-Sud did well in the lower order. Pity Demeza had to run me out. Just because you don`t get many not-outs! =P
I thought our bowling was fantastic. Very economical and barely any extras. Our fielding however! Many a dropped catch. Having several players dropped off my bowling, including Marc is a little frustrating. But there`s nothing there hard work won`t fix. I very much enjoyed the wickets of Markus and Hakon and bowling Kenny was awesome.
Second dig. Cribb, again unlucky not to get 50! Likewise Sudeep. And Crampton was superb. Worthy replacement of Jellett. You`ll shine in the next few matches my friend. And I made double-figures! Awesome!
Sorry `bout my bowling in the second innings, pretty appalling. I need to back up my first effort in FC matches, too often do I do alright in one innings and then put in a horrible performance in the second. Great economical bowling by Adz, crazy stuff.
Keeping Bennett to one wicket was a job well done.

Respect to the Reds, deserved, if not expected winners. Favourites for the FC title in my eyes.

Let's not forget that the Reds struggled last year, and they've lost their best bowler since. I think the Blacks will do well, and we might have a good year as well. Green and Red are anyone's guess, as are the Colts of course.
