not unheard of in Tests.........I remember Mike Whitney keeping Hadlee out to deny NZL a win in AUS.........

and likewise McDermott getting Walsh in AUS to secure a win..........

both occaisions it was a countdown re overs v wickets v tailenders & the crowd was going wild...............great stuff..............
