Bridges is on my fantasy team. That is how i found out about the trade. He is useful-ish, in a his peak is randomly winning you a first or second round playoff match on account of exploiting a good match up.Bridges is really good and Cam is very talented but injury prone
Their ages align with Nets core plus we got a boatload of picks with the latter ones being potentially really good
KD was never going to play for us again and Suns are banking on health of old, injury prone players
We have seen this from the Suns & Nets for the last few years and it hasn’t worked
So what you’re saying is that he’s better than Chris Paul.Bridges is on my fantasy team. That is how i found out about the trade. He is useful-ish, in a his peak is randomly winning you a first or second round playoff match on account of exploiting a good match up.
Not really. More a wing level equivalent of the likes of Brandon Bass and Kelly Olynyk (they both randomy exploded for 20 something points and won a second round playoff match for the Celtics). He will do a job in the starting 5 but he ain't setting the world on fire.So what you’re saying is that he’s better than Chris Paul.
It’s like the same idiots who say that the Nets should trade Simmons for LaVine or Beal
Fkn great
We get perennial losers back & pay $10 million plus picks for the pleasure of getting worse
Crowder's been flipped to MiwaukeeThe nets return from the 2 sales + cam thomas seems too talented for a complete burn it down team even accounting for keeping the best pieces to attract other talent. Dinwiddie and Bridges are both on 18 ppg (38% from 3) career years as No.2s of major teams due to injuries. DFS, Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder are quality role players who would play 25 mpg+ on most good NBA teams. Outside of Bridges and maybe Thomas, they have the type of boringly good talent who would be highly appreciated role players on even contending teams but not really a major draw for stars.
Are they still one of the top 8-9 teams in the east? I wonder if they'll try to hold on to even hold on to a playoff spot this year considering they have a big headstart to it.
yeah why did the lakers trade him? he was playing so well for them, anyway as you said a great pickup for us.Thomas Bryant is a great pickup for us and something we've been crying out for. We have no depth at guard now though
Apparently they didn't want to pay him and he was complaining about minutes. So they trade him to backup the reigning MVP, lolyeah why did the lakers trade him? he was playing so well for them, anyway as you said a great pickup for us.
Nets are the deepest team in the NBA but probably capped at 2nd round unless Simmons does a LazarusBrooklyn may still make the playoffs but they are essentially done for this season…
Jordan is basically unplayable & has been for yearsHe's ass on D though but hopefully it's not DeAndre level ass
Boogie gets demonised but he gave us big time spark from the bench last season. Cutting him for DAJ was lame afJordan is basically unplayable & has been for years
No idea why he’s still in the NBA and yet the Nuggets signed him on Day 1
Dwight is certifiable but still levels above DAJBoogie gets demonised but he gave us big time spark from the bench last season. Cutting him for DAJ was lame af
He wasn't re-signed because he was toxic in the locker room. Got in a bust up with Will Barton of all people and clashed with coaches all the time.Boogie gets demonised but he gave us big time spark from the bench last season. Cutting him for DAJ was lame af
