I think we got away with it a bit there. Pant and Hardik weren't in particularly great nick and couldn't quite capitalize on the great start.

Madushanka went for a few too many today - he's a better bowler than that.

This game shows why the smallest contributions are so vital in T20s especially. You look at H4xar and you think he has had a bad day but those 2 wickets in that last over are probably match-winning if we now end up winning this game.

I'd have preferred Kamindu Mendis in at 3. I'm not convinced Kusal Perera is the type to bat there, but Sanath probably likes him so he starts.

We're falling apart after Nissanka got out. Our batsmen aren't particularly good at coming into pressure situations and performing.

I think they were in good form having been plaing cricket here thanks to the LPL.

I don't know how Shanaka keeps getting this gig - there are better batsmen around who we could select.

Excellent XI chosen by Gambo the rambo. This team needs to have both Rinku and Parag in the XI and riff raffs like Dube kept on standby for substitute roles or where lopsided conditions warrant their presence.

5 bowlers are enough and make Hardik bowl all his overs if he's claiming the AR spot. Parag's handy spin can take care of 2-3 overs required here and there.

Pant is going to find himself pushed in T20 at least. Pant does not yet have the ability to start off in top gear but he does make it up. He faced mostly that slinger from SL and scored 29 from his last 10 balls.

Parag has bowled quite well and has actually been the pick of the bowlers IMO. He's bowled a really good line and has got it to turn a bit.

Hardik struggling to find his line with the left handers.
