Well their midfield trio looks to be Gerrard and Poulsen infront of Mascherano. G-reat.
Never any easy game. Just please be Almunia rather than Fabianski. Please.

It's a crazy world where Balotelli (what exactly has he accomplished so far?) and Milner go for 20+ million. City's transfer policy is a joke.
That what happens when you are minted, every club will take you to the cleaners. Funnily enough, Balotelli's replacement at Inter is the grandson of a mafia boss.

Milner is such a pointless buy as well, not a bad player by any means but where is going to play? They have got a million central midfealders as it is and if he is going to play wide then they probably have better options there as well.
First of the home-grown determined buys. On that level, it makes sense.

SWP, Michael Johnson, Bridge, Richards, Hart, Lescott, Adam Johnson, Bellamy, Barry, Weiss, Ireland, Stuart Taylor for starters.

Lol, even with all our off-season activity, we'll still start with Ngog upfront tomorrow night. Dear dear dear

Bale making Richards look a bit silly most of the half. Get him in the England team! Oh, wait...

Hoping Citeh can nick one and ride the jam.

Citeh look diff team second stanza; SW-P might wanna try shooting tho. How much fecking time did he want? Still fail to see a point in the young man.

Reckon there must be something in him only Italian managers can see, myself.

Either that or in training he's the football equivalent of one of those batsmen who're forever "hitting it well in the nets" but are utterly plop in the middle

Johnson light years ahead of frog in a blender. Hopefully was only a sub because of playing in the England friendly.

See Milner, that's why ypou should stay at Villa, a proper club.

Citeh were rubbish today frankly, would have been thrashed if it wasn't for Hart in goal. Hopefully Milner might reconsider staying at Villa, based on today. Certainly he'll be playing every week when fit, as opposed to playing every third game or whatever at Man City.

Blackpool = Awesome. So chuffed, especially as I think I was the only one to predict Blackpool win in the tipping thread. Even if they prevented Villa being top :@.
