Well we need bowling back up bcause of The Aussie's A team tour and Siddy been injured.

#Don't exactly want to rely on Wardlaw I think given his inexperience.

Not sure what to make of it tbh,I know Siddy has been suffering with injuries and I don't fancy Wardlaw playing he's ****e. Haven't seen Steve bowl for a bit, who knows maybe Dizzy feels he can give him a kick up the ass and try to reinvigorate his county career, only a months loan so if he's shows no interest no harm and he goes back. I actually hope it works for him because I like Harmison.

I wonder how sharp he is. I reckon it could take most of the month to get him match-fit.

That's going to be it, if he's over weight and lacks rhythm it will be pointless, if he's anything like fit he may prove to be a surprise, it will all depend how much he wants it and ateotd he didn't have to come to us. Hasn't bowled loads this year but looking at his figures when he has he hasn't been expensive and picked up a few wickets.

May have a point to prove so might be a good signing short term. Who knows might be signed longer term if he does well.

I would love to see Harmison return to form, even if it did cause Lancs and Yorks to pass each other by for another season, but at nearly 34 I fear 'tis a tad improbable

The signing makes a bit more sense because next game we'll not only be without Siddy but also Starc for two championship games, that would of meant going in to a first class game with a bowling line up of Patterson, Ashraf, Wardlaw, Rafiq and Rashid, shudders at the thought.

Hmm, as Sky are showing the 2010 final I assume they're down to cover the only match which isn't going ahead this afternoon, Hants v Essex.

Sounds as if the rain arrived on the south coast at the right time for Surrey. Sussex 104/0 from 9. Ouch.

Tremmers's sole over so far cost him 23 without any extra balls being bowled.

Luke Wright's on 54* from 27; holding his hand up for a recall, tbf.

Certainly is, both Wright and Prior have monstered the bowling this year.

So everything contrived to give Durham a passage through to the quarter finals and they still **** it up. Useless ****ing ****s.

Some 'spectacular' D-L revisions. Sussex getting completely ****ed over by one of them whilst Gloucester had the tricky chase of 23 off 5 overs.

Another very good win for the boys, we've got a fair amount of confidence and momentum behind us atm.

KP finally wins Surrey a game 36 off 16, even though Sussex will feel mighty aggrieved, it was still a fairly tough ask 62 in 5 overs.

I wonder if there's a way in situations like this of only giving a team say for example 5 wickets to play with, I know that's all meant to be taken in to account in D/L when working out the target but still you always fancy the chasing team in situations like this.

Draw for the 1/4 finals is Notts v Hampshire . Somerset v Essex , Sussex v Gloucs & Yorks v Worcs

Good tie for us that, some good match ups in the others.
