Congrats England. This one is for the diehard English fans.

Faced with an almost insurmountable task, England’s skipper, the alliterative Liam, spanked a century in a run chase for the ages.

I’m from the home team and I was in awe of the way in which the partnership between Scrappy Doo and Skipper Liam pull themselves out of a rut and grab the bull by the horns.

As a fan of cricket, this is a story of perseverance . Something that is sometimes absent from the modern cricketer. I love an underdog story.

All the best in the decider.

Cricket won today :drunk:

Had an excellent T20 series with bat and ball against Australia the other day
I'll confess I've already forgotten that whole series. (Other than the free to air game getting rained off.)

He played one against NZ in a shortened game last year that was up there.
Ah remember this one now. Came in with with us in trouble batting first and turned it into a winning score. Yeah great knock but this one a level above again.

Beating a dead horse,

We left some runs out there. Even if we made 170 odd in the last 20 overs. I felt that it wasn’t adequate, which was why I made that post about not getting enough at the halfway stage. Cricket is a funny game and relies heavily on the balance of power and who feel like they have an edge.

Me, I wasn’t satisfied with the score we had.

If nothing else will give what masquerades as local radio up here something to crow about. Barrow lost, Carlisle lost, Borthwick's England lost. They will have to talk about cricket, which in their eyes starts and ends with Stokes and Livingstone.

I think a great knock by LL and us having no death bowling at all are the main reasons for defeat TBF.

Though I do agree, our bowling is bad enough that we have to maximise every run out there. I thought Chase played a poor innings, cost us a good 10/15 runs. But that wouldn't have been enough anyway.

I would like them to rest Jayden from one of ODIs or T20s. He's an amazing red ball bowler but his old ball white ball skills are not up to par.
