Aggers keeps going on about bringing in Tremlett for Hoggard at a bouncy OT, anyone actually think this will happen??
as much as hoggard is a liability to the english side at the moment, they wont pick tremlett, preferring to stick with the 'winning combination' as usual. although old trafford is one of hoggard's better grounds in england, 15 wickets@ 27.5

Update on OT pitch & Lee & McGrath

Well this afternoon i saw Lee bowling for a good 15-20 minutes under the eye of Errol Alcott, while Pigeon was while Pigeon was doing some trotting around the ground with somelight bowl here at OT & at the carrington training ground whre i suspect he & the coach may have met Sir Alex :D .

While has i said before about the pitch from what i saw it looks hard & Peter maron i saying it will offer a lot of bounce but i dunno i aint pitch expert but i still reckon it will turn like the usual OT pitch, i would have liked to get a feel of the surface but they aren't allow that

Nice! wana see both playing in the 3rd test...if they both returned then super-hyped England is sure going down....McGrath doing wonders with the ball & Lee with ball and bat...^_^

Super-hyped? Interesting way of putting it...

Just heard Lee and McGrath on the radio here in Aus. Lee seems to be 100 % as expected.

However, McGrath said he felt absolutely fine and there was no pain in his ankle at all. Should he wake up fine, which he is very confident of, he'll be right to play. So it seems like Pidgeon is much more likely to play than to not play

It is a big risk playing Mcgrath and i think the medical staff will know that, he could easily break down at any time. I won't mind though, aussies with 3 bowlers would be amusing!!!

Let McGrath play... he falls over and Aussies will be let with two out of form seamers, one who has hasnt practiced in ages and a spinner. That would just be comedy.

If he plays then it wasn't a ligament tear, and Alcott is a lying toad!!!
They never said it was a ligament tear. That would be a Grade III injury, they said it was a Grade II injury.
