Hahah that`s weird... in my head I thought 'married', but typed 'going out'.

And that mullet... I mean - it wobbled. C`mon Bracken. You`re my superhero. Show some respect.

So Ricky will bowl then.
lol... He's not that bad a captain, just let a bit of history get in his way last test IMO. Steve Waugh said something in the paper today along the lines of 'If the toss decision was that important, then why doesn't everybody just pack up and go home after the coin is tossed.'

There's a difference between it being crucial and it just being a stupid decision that completely neglected to play to his team's strengths and lead to defeat.

If its bouncy... then Harmison and Flintoff are going to cause havoc. They did the damage on a slow low bouncing track in the last game and are full of confidence.

Whilst Warne is always going to be a threat I think playing another spinner is pointless. Never rated Macgill anyway... he bowls a four ball every over without fail.

That means he only needs a wicket-taking ball every five or six overs to be really effective. And he does better than that.

I just think that is its a fast bouncy track then play a fast bounce bowler! You already have the best spinner that has ever lived... why the need for another? Plus with Kaspa and Gillespie bowling pies... are you just going to bowl spin all day?

Pedro Delgado

No he doesn't, more like he bowls a four-ball every three overs.

Just seen Ponting's press conference, they're pretty confident about Bung, and there's a chance Pidgeon may have a bowl in the nets today.

Well if that is the case and Mcgrath bowls then its all but confirmed, the guy isn't human. I was unaware ligaments could heal in a week!!!

Nah, he's taking the same drugs Warne did to get back from his shoulder injury. Warne's mum has organised the diuretics for the masking agents.

Mcgrath won't play. Ponting was just playing a few mindgames IMO
Yeah i think they are delaying the inevitable, if they were to say now that Mcgrath is def out, the boost would be great for England.

A chance remember. If he's going to rule himself in, he must have a really good session today said Punter. Staying tuned to Sky Sports News all day to see if there's coverage of McGrath running in, am awaiting the "Look away now if you're an England supporter, <pause for effect> pictures here of GLENN MCGRATH bowling in the Old Trafford nets..."
