Urgh Smith is so good.

BD managed to take 10 in a session after a 100 run opening partnership against England. So there is hope. But i'm not feeling the magic. Smith is so damn good and now Warner has found his zone. They both just dont let the bowlers settle into a rhythm.

Mushy is such an awful captain and keeper. Brings the whole team down. He's still worth his spot in the side as a batsman, but I'd much prefer Tamim as skipper, and someone like Liton Das as keeper.

Gonna take some magic from Miraz and Shakib today morning to pull this one back. Fizz is doing okay in providing support but has definitely lost a step since injury. I don't know if what he needs his more time off, or more game time. But something isn't right. Taijul hasn't been that good this game either.
Nah, it won't take magic from anyone for Bangladesh to win. They need Smith early, preferably Warner too and they'll win in a canter. That's not magic, that's a couple of early poles and Australia's middle order will do the rest for them.

Bangladesh get one of warner and smith in the first half an hour and they probably win. If they're still out there then it's probably game.

Finally a man who can appreciate a healthy woman is in the Australian side.

We're saved.

Re: Khawaja, the concerning thing isn’t just his low scores but how nervous and unsure of himself he’s looked in his brief innings.

In the 1st innings he seemed to be panic running both deliveries he faced to prove to doubters that he could take quick singles and yesterday he was playing with hard hands that made a catch to a close-in fielder seem likely any delivery; he probably sensed this too hence his panic sweep shot.

It reminds be a bit of the issue with Gary Balance; even a bigger issue than his low scores is how awful he does when he struggles and goes out cheaply which really is a problem for someone as pivotal as a No. 3 bat.

AWTA. I was going to wonder about this yesterday but I'm not sure how much his lack of confidence is playing on him vs his technical issues.

But he seems to me the type of guy who would let this kind of inability to play a certain way really get to him after a few failures, then would let it compound and really get to him. We've heard much of his efforts or rather lack thereof on certain things over the years, and I just wonder whether he just needs a pat on the back or one test too many to crack the code.

Who knows, maybe his feet might even get moving. I think he can one day be salvaged against spin bowling.

The runs are flowing. The partnership approaching 3 figures. Too comfortable for the Aussies. They might end it in this session at the rate they are going.
