That should be it for Wade. Bloke is a poor keeper and his batting has gone backwards overall. Prefer others.

Thank **** Aus don't have to come back to this continent again for a while. They'll be ranked no.1 in Test cricket by the next time they go to Asia, mark my words. It's a vicious cycle.

It should have been it for him when he dropped last time.

International Captain
Maxwell's back foot play gives me a lot more confidence than Handscomb. Really clears his legs out of the way and gives himself the chance to jam down on it if it does something strange. Handscomb gets a long way back but he goes too far across for mine so is forced to play too much to leg.

Haha it was missing. fmd.

Stop playing for turn. They didn't in India and it worked well. This is SL last year-type techniques on display.

Fun fact, in the 1st Test of the 2006 tour of BD, after BD won the toss and batted first Aus trailed in the 1st innings of the 1st Test by like 170 runs, and still won.

Then the 2nd test Aus won by an innings and only lost 4 wickets for the match.

This series is following a similar trajectory it seems

Lol these ****s are never going to learn how to play the straighter one.
They're basically all straight breaks save for one which does something due to the deck. I had thought they'd come to terms with this in India, but it appears not.

I can see playing for the turn for the ball spinning in tbf. Get the pad out of the line of offstump and be prepared to be beaten on the outside edge.
