ODI World Cup Draft

Hello Everyone!

The team that you shall draft here should not have any players who have played with or against each other in an ODI World Cup final. For example, you cannot pick both of Adam Zampa and Shreyas Iyer in your side.

Players who have played less than 5 ODIs are ineligible for this draft.

7 hour time-outs from second round onwards.

Odd numbered rounds to be reverse of the previous rounds, final round will be free for all and will commence 12 hours after the final R10 pick has been made.

Please post in if interested.

Would have been interested but Mrs L&L and I are off on a trip (The Ghan) from the 26th to May 2 and I never take my laptop on holidays.

So if someone picks Kane Williamson does it mean they can't also pick Kumar Dharmasena?

Serious question:

Is this an ODI draft or a World Cup draft?

Is it fine to pick players who (have) played 5+ ODIs but never played a single CWC match?

The restriction is odd. Are you saying anyone is fine as long as they didn't make the ODI Final? Also do you mean the actual final or the tournament as a whole

No. You can't have TWO or more players who played in the same World Cup final. All of your XI might hypothetically be finalists, as long as none of them played in the same final.

Do they have to be finalists? Choking at the semi-final not good enough?

Yes you can pick any player with 5 or more ODIs.

What FP and Luffy said. Your player need not necessarily be a World Cup finalist. Just that there shouldn't be two or more players in your side who played in the same WC final. So yes, Mark Boucher is an eligible pick.
